Maternity photos are the love letter to your son or daughter. One day they’ll want to know what you felt like as you carried them. They’ll wish they could have seen your smile, knowing you were joining them soon. This is a gift to them, before they’re even born. While also a gift to your future self. You’ll find yourself missing those kicks, and your growing belly. You’ll miss the anticipation of meeting your baby for the first time. So, you’ll take down your treasured album from the shelf and sit with your son and daughter. You’ll cherish watching their reaction as they see you carrying them.

Most maternity sessions are held between 30 and 36 weeks. I will give you some light direction to help you and your partner engage with one another, while also capturing portraits of mama and baby bump.

Newborn photos are typically within the first two weeks of baby’s arrival. We’ll set a tentative newborn session date and we will confirm after the baby is born. I approach newborn photos from a documentary, lifestyle approach. I will guide you (and siblings) and give some light direction, but I do not pose baby in any unnatural way. I am looking to capture authentic connection and the genuine emotion between you, your partner, older siblings, and your new little one.
